Services for Mr. Roosevelt "Thang" Jones, Sr. Visitation with the family Friday, May 24, 2019 from 5 - 7:00 p.m. at Mabone Funeral Home, L.L.C. 1435 Teague Store Road Somerville, Tennessee.
Funeral Services; Saturday, May, 25th, 11:00 a.m. at Cleaves Memorial C.M.E. Church Oakland, Tennessee. Interment McCulley Cemetery Oakland, TN.
He is survived by his children, Roosevelt Jones, Jr., Charles Jones, Joyce Elaine Leavy, Rochell Jones, Esther Oretha Thompson, and Reginald Jones. Thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two Sisters; Girtie Mae (Charles) Coleman, and Katherine (Darnell) Watkins, one brother William (Brenda) Jones. A special granddaughter Brenda Herron.
