Survived by his love ones, a wife, Opera Jones- Birdsong, five children; Lovely Minter, Brownsville, Tn., John Lax, Mason,Alicia Birdsong-Young, Memphis, Tn., Rita Birdsong, Mason, Tn., Richard J. Birdsong, 1v, Nashville,Tn.,  eleven grandchildren, four Great Grandchildren, one sister, Clementine Hill, Memphis, Tn., and one brother, George Birdsong, Calif.
