Lamar Towles

Lamar Towles 69 years of age. The son of Erma and the late William Shepard Towles, Jr. A graduate of Fayette County High School. Member of Wesley C.M.E. Church Somerville, there he served as a steward. Retired from CSX Railroad as Yard Master. A member of Pheonix Masonic Lodge # 715 Bird of Fire Nashville, TN.

Lamar leaves to cherish his memories a wife Barbara Joyce Locke-Towles, Oakland, Five Children: Monique Davis, Memphis Donna Cleaves, Oakland, James (Latoya) Cooper, Nashville, Christopher Towles, Oakland and Eric Lamar Towles, Nashville. Eleven Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. Six Sisters; Brenda JAckson, Los Angeles, CA, Barbara Wiggins, Somerville, Charlotte (Melvin) Quarles, Memphis, Florence (Marvin) Taylor, Cordova, Felisha Jackson, Memphis, and Marilyn (Calvin) Ridgell, Cordova. Three Brothers; William Towles, III, Somerville, Donald Towles, Sr., Oakland, and Dannie Towles, Sr., Somerville.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 19th, From 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at House of Faith Ministries 14915 Hwy 76 North Somerville, TN.  Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 Noon.

Interment Wesley C.M.E. Church Cemetery 2780 Shady Grove Road Somerville, TN.
