Kathleen Lynn (Ferguson) Hart

12/5/1942 - 12/31/23

Kathleen was born in Weatherford, TX to Comadora and Louise Ferguson. She graduated from
Germantown High School and then Memphis State University with a Masters Degree in Education. Ms.
Hart taught at Collierville Elementary/Middle Schools.
Ms. Ferguson married Mickey Hart in 1964. Together they had 3 children. Mitch Hart (Darlene) of
Moscow, TN, Wendy Hart (Tony Edwards) Milton, FL and Spencer Hart (Diana) Moscow, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two of her siblings Eleanor Ferguson and Johnny
Ferguson.
Kathie is survived by her brother Commodore (Butch) Ferguson (JoEllen) and her nephews and niece.
She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren Monica Hale, Cody Hart (Mary) and Jimmy Smith (Richley) and 7
great grandchildren.
Kathie left the Memphis area and moved to Colorado and then finally settling on a family farm in High
Rolls, NM. During her time on the mountain, she managed Mountain Park Trout Farm and was the
owner operator of the local sanitation Company. She lived there for the past 45 years until her sons
moved her to Moscow, TN at the end of September to be with family due to health reasons.
Anyone that knew Kathie knows that she did everything her way. This includes going out with a Bang
on New Year’s Eve.
