James Elbert "Bubba " Harris 90 years of age.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 1st, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at Mary Lee Mabone Memorial Chapel (Mabone Funeral Home) 1435 Teague Store Road

Somerville, TN.

James Elbert Harris was born to Blanch Cleaves and
Eubanks Harris on July 4, 1932, in Fayette County,
Oakland Tennessee.
He departed his earthly home on March 24, 2023.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Pierce to
this union one daughter was born, Curtistine Harris
(Paul) Wilson of KY.
He attended public school in Fayette County. He
confused his religion under the leadership of Pastor.
Nell Jones. He was employed at Cargil in Oakland,
Tennessee until it closed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eubanks.
Harris: his mother, Blanch Cleaves; his sisters,
Katherine, Mary, Clara Ransom and Louise Field; he
leaves one living sister, Hattie Harris; three brothers,
Charles, Hudie and Bennie; one aunt, LaRue Tharpe.
two grandchildren, Ashley and Wesley of Kentucky
and he raised Earnestine, Diane, Amos, Doris and
Victoria: he also help raised his little cousin Flo, Jerry,
Marcus, Cedric, Timothy Jr., Billy, Lloyd; two close
friends, Martha Jones and Billy Reeves and a host of
nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and dear friends
