Garvin Haliburton, Jr. Mr. Garvin (Pete) Halliburton Jr., was born in Millington Tennessee to late J.B. Garvin Hallibuton Sr. and the late Geraldine Estes on March 18,1951. God Called him home on Septemper 10,2024. He was proceeded in death by a sister Dorthy Jean Miles, a sister Willie Bell Morgan, a sister Rose Mary Lewis, a sister SusieAnne Watkins, a sister Elsie Lean Halliburton Brown, a brother Nathaniel Halliburton, a sister Denise Halliburton, a sister Vera Halliburton, a son Garvin Halliburton III, a son Kelvin Halliburton, a granson Tallarico Jones Jr, a sister inlaw Marie Anderson, and a brother in law Clearence Stewart. He accepted Christ at a early age and served as a faithful member of Mt. Olive M.B. Church. Garvin was a proud Soldier in the U.S. ARMY for 4 Heroic years. He Held the postion of a artillery Combat War Soldier. He fought for Liberty Freedom ,Justice, Peace and Unity. He attended Southwest Community College for 2 years at a young age. Garvin also worked at Hoffman Dye Products and served as a Security guard for many long years. Garvin was very Halirious, He loved to hunt and fish. Garvin was a true master chef on the grill and great card player. Garvin was a family man and loved nothing more than his family Garvin leaves to Cherish his Graceful memory a loving wife Dianne Halliburton, a son Marvel(Dusharne) Halliburton Longmire, a daughter Karen(Andew)King, a son Keyron Halliburton, a daughter Talisha Halliburton, a son Xavier Lewis, a mother in- Law Ocinell Wilson, a stepson Mario (Maurisha) Porter and a stepdaughter Latasha (Terrance) Smith a sister Geraldine Halliburton and two brothers Robert (Dorthy) Jewell Halliburton, and Walter (Patricia) Burnice Halliburton. Garvin also had five Sister in laws Lois, Ruby,(Bill), Lorine, Stella and Donna and also a host of grand children, great grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins Visitation with the Family will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14th from 5-7:00 p.m. at Mabone Funeral Home 1435 Teague Store Road Somerville, TN. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 15th,2024, 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive M.B. Church 2135 Lagrange Road Somerville, Tn., Pastor Reverend George Hester. Interment McCulley Cemetery Oakland, TN.
