Derrick (Trel) Montrel Montague, Sr.

Derrick  (Trel)  Montrel Montague, Sr. 45 years of age, died September 28, 2020 at Jackson General Hospital, Jackson, Tennessee. He is the son   of Mr. and Mrs. Dorothy Dotson-Montague and the late John Herman Montague of Oakland, Tennessee. He was educated in Haywood County Public School system. and was employed By Smucker Jelly company.

Derrick was a member of Pulliam Chapel M.B. Church, Somerville,Tn., Pastored by Reverend Thomas Yates.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife LaShanda Tapplin- Montague, three sons; Derrick Montague,Jr, Stanton,Tn.,Darrius Montague,Stanton,Tn., and Timothy Patterson,Jr. Somerville,Tn.,Mother; Dorothy Dotson-Montague,Stanton,Tn;two Brothers: Mario (LaTasha) Pirtle, Brownsville,Tn. and Jonathan Montague,Stanton,Tn., a Mother-in-law, Dorothy Tapplin, Oakland,Tn.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th, 2020 at Mabone Funeral Home Chapel 1435 Teague Store Road Somerville,Tn. from 5:00 -7:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 10th, 2020 at Bellgrove M.B.Church130 Bellgrove Road   Oakland, Tn. 12:00 Noon.
