Bonnie Jean Waddell

November 11, 1957 — June 18, 2020

Bonnie Jean " Queen B" Waddell 62 years of age died June 18, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital Bartlett,Tn.The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Waddell and Leonia DeShields-Waddell. Bonnie Attended Fayette Ware High School in Fayette County, Tennessee. She was a faithful member of Morrow Grove C.M.E. Church where she sang in the church choir. Her favorite passion was cooking foods for others to enjoy, and was employed by the Fayette County School Board in the dietary division.

Viewing will be held on Friday, June 26th, 2020 at Mabone Funeral Home Chapel 1435 Teague Store Road Somerville, Tn. from 5:00 pm. until 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 27th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Grove C.M.E. Church  5790 Armour Dr. Somerville, Tn. Reverend Jerry Taylor, Pastor. Interment Church Cemetery.

Bonnie is survived by two sons; Keith and Vicky Waddell, Somerville,Tn. and Kevin and Christine Waddell of Memphis, Tn.; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren' two sisters; Ida Waddell, Somerville, Tn. and Annie Hygrade, St. Louis, MO.; two brothers; Leo Williams and Marvell Waddell, both of Somerville,Tn.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we will be practicing social distancing and ask that all in attendance please wear your mask and gloves. Please follow the instructions of the funeral director and staff. Due to the COVID-19 stipulations, we can only allow ten people in the building at a time for viewing. There will be no gathering inside the Funeral Home during the visitation. Please adhere to social gathering practices put in place at the Funeral Home and or church to help protect our community. family is aware that 35 guest of the family, friends and can attend the private Homegoing service.
